Tara Reid began her career in commercials when she was an infant. She earned a name for herself through Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Although her acting abilities were questioned, she's certainly played her roles with ease. Her breakthrough was when she appeared as Bunny, in The Big Lebowski. The film launched her career. this film and she began to receive better offers from films like Urban Legend or Cruel Intentions. However it is American Pie the cult movie that focused on sexual encounters between teenagers that put Reid as a potential star on the horizon in Hollywood in her part as the virgin Vicky. This did not result in a huge, successful Hollywood career. Reid was unable to become huge in Hollywood by appearing in films like Josie and the Pussycats. Reid did play a role on the set of American Pie 2 for a few minutes, but this did not help her declining career. Reid is more well-known as a fashion designer and party girl as an actress than she does for her acting. This stems from her mistakes on screen, the media's attention to plastic surgeries and many other blink-and miss performances.
